In October 1999, Karen Dokouzian-Spencer opened the doors to D’Vine Design’s brick-and-mortar shop in Milan, Ohio. Her natural talent for floral design quickly caught the attention of customers searching for beautiful wreaths, swags, and centerpieces.

Before the storefront, Karen hosted open houses inside our family home. Friends and family pitched in to help, and I, Taline, was just 12 years old when I began carefully wrapping each floral arrangement on the kitchen island for customers to take home.

After welcoming hundreds of women into our home through those early open houses, Karen knew it was time to take the next step. D’Vine Design’s storefront was born, and our mother-daughter partnership began.

What started as an interior and custom floral design business with a few gifts sprinkled in has grown into a beloved lifestyle and gifting destination. Today, our shelves are filled with a thoughtfully curated mix of goods for baby, home, pantry, gifting, and her. Our selection changes often, so there is always something new and unexpected waiting to be discovered.

Through every season of growth, the heart of D’Vine Design has remained the same. Since 1999, we have worked to create a welcoming, homey place where strangers become friends and friends eventually feel like family.

As a second-generation, family-owned shop, it is incredibly meaningful to continue what Karen started all those years ago. We are grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, shopped with us online, shared our name, or made D’Vine part of a special occasion.
