Maine is the most northeastern state in the U.S. and is known for its rocky coastline, maritime history and nature areas. Lighthouses dot the coastline, as do lobster shacks and sandy beaches. Maine is also home to wild blueberries. People travel from far and wide to pick wild Maine blueberries.
